Hey guys, 
I'd like to update the news item on Affiliates, but I need some information to finalize the copy. Can you have a look at let me know a) what skills are we looking for and b)if they should contact us via [e-mail] or the dev list:

Once we're settled on the copy we can add it to the next bunch of l10n copy.

In terms of developers, something like "HTML, CSS, Python, or Django" would work.

For a contact address, I think we should use the [e-mail] email and forward any potential contributors to myself or cmore.

Phython should by Python, Djoango should be Django.

Yeah, still waiting on bug 706216. I've ping'd Milos to see the status of the strings for the news items.

It looks like we've got this localized in a pile of locales. Are we good to update the news item?

We're missing fr, sr, and sr-LATN in that list. Thoughts:

1. We need to figure out a way to launch news in certain locales so we can put a news item live and have it appear as more locales translate it (bug 724673). That won't block this news item, but it will make launching news items in the future much easier.

2. We need to make sure all text translation for the site happens in verbatim. With etherpad, we have to merge the text manually and manually track which locales are translated for that piece of text.

Good news! This was merged into the svn a while ago and has already been translated in all our live locales, so we can push this live from the database at will.

The exact strings to use for the new news item are:

It's good except for one thing. We need to change 

"live for over a month now" to "live for almost six months now"

and get it localized.

Okay, this time for sure; The string is in SVN and translated, still with the "live for over a month now" string. What do we want to change it to?

As soon as we have a final final string, I'll get it up on verbatim and we'll schedule this to go live as soon as it is translated.
