User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 Firefox/3.6.12
Build ID: 20101026200835
Steps to reproduce:
svn+ssh in the body of a message
I just received an email with nothing but the following plain message
Environment: svn+ssh://some.server/path/to/repository/
Actual results:
When opened I got the following
"An error occurred while loading or saving configuration information for Gecko. Some of your configuration settings may not work properly."
Bad key or directory name: "/desktop/gnome/url-handlers/svn+ssh/command": `+' is an invalid character in key/directory names

Expected results:
What this does mean?
Reading an email could ever end up in saving some configuration?
I just need to get rid of this...

In the e-mail, you are trying to access a subversion link but you don't have the setting enabled in your desktop. There must be an application to handle this type of link (it is not Thunderbird).

Well, your statement should be read: "thunderbird" is trying to access a subversion link. The only thing the user (which is me) attempts is to read (open) the plain text email.
My question is why thunderbind "knows" to replace the plain text with a link which doesn't have an appropriate application handler?

There is no attachment in my email.
This looks like duplicate of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=541130
