There is a lot of exciting stuff happening with Sync and FX10 release. I'm working on the /firefox website updates, but in addition the team would like to run a snippet.

Copy:

Seamlessly sync your desktop and mobile Firefoxes, and access your data no matter which device you use.

From the screenshot you see that the UI for Sync is now also in the About:Home page.  I think it makes sense for the copy/graphic to play off the new UI placement. 

So, something like:

"Seamlessly sync your desktop and mobile Firefox. Use the link below to set up your account so you can always access your data no matter which device you use."

Matej, We really don't want to explicitly list what data is sync'ed because the amount of data is variable (we are adding addon sync & favicon sync for example, and the native fennec is an open question wrt passwords for example). So I'd veto the first one. The second one might lead people to think sync is a backup service, and it is not, so I'd like to stay away from the term 'access'.

However the 3rd one sounds pretty good. :)

for example user has sync on tablet/phone and their desktop. they get new desktop/lose old desktop, and now they can pair the desktop to the phone.

Love the arrow pointing down idea. We need a graphic bug for this. I just opened one here: Bug 707979 for a static image, but I want to try to do a functional snippet as well that maybe includes a animated arrow, or a arrow outside of the snippet box pointing to the sync link or making the "Sync" link on about:home pop more or glow when this snippet shows, etc.

@ally - What l10n versions of Firefox will these Sync changes launch in? All versions? I'd like to get this snippet localized to all locales that are going to see this change.
