Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0 Build ID: 20111104165243 Steps to reproduce: right click navigation toolbar. drag "bookmarks toolbar" button Actual results: "bookmarks toolbar" button doesn't exist Expected results: "bookmark toolbar" button should be available. That way i can quickly access the bookmarks toolbar without it being visible all the time.
There are addons which can give you the bookmarks toolbar button: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bookmarks-toolbar-button/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hide-bookmarksbar/ You can find more on the same site.
(In reply to sdrocking from comment #1) Sorry, I forgot to mention that I would mostly use bookmarklets in my bookmarks toolbar menu. So I would need to accessmit quickly, and for itnto disappear after. > https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bookmarks-toolbar-button/ This toggles the toolbar on and off, which is pretty useful too. I would rather have a pop up menu that disappears after you make a selection. > https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hide-bookmarksbar/ this is nice for bookmarks. also same issue, not being able to access it on current web site with bookmarklets like Instapaper.
If your bookmarks toolbar is hidden, but menu bar shown, this is a duplicate of bug 631330. If you want it to be visible when the bookmarks toolbar is shown, it's bug 581238.

(In reply to Aleksej [:Aleksej] from comment #3) > If your bookmarks toolbar is hidden, but menu bar shown, this is a duplicate Those two bugs are probably actually duplicates of each other.
