Novell fixed it by putting both base URL and comment URL at the top of the bugmail, as Mandriva does.

Currently, bug mail that includes an added comment arrives with a link directly to the new comment instead of to the generic link to the top of the bug page. While I can imagine someone has a use for the direct link to the  comment, it seems more likely to want to open at the top of the page to see the overview, or else to the additional comments input field, rather than jumping directly to the brand new comment whose content is in the bug mail just being read or already read.

I find the jump to comment link quite annoying, both generally, and because it causes duplicates in browser history, which is what I often use to locate a bug I want to go back to or fetch a link to paste somewhere.

I use bugzillas from Novell, Redhat, Mandriva, Samba and others besides Mozilla's. None of them (last I noticed) use only the added comment link instead of the link to the page head in bug mail. Please either provide a link to the page head instead, or in addition. If you can't do either of those, please do as Mandriva does, and include the overview and a copy of comment 0 in each bug mail.
