If you start loading a page and scroll down, the viewport will jump to the top of the page as the page loads.

I've noticed this too- the page repeatedly jumps to top and jerks around erratically while loading; the same happens to the foreground site when loading a tab in the background. It makes the browser completely unusable until the page or background pages have fully finished loading.

No, bug 706489 is different - it's actually for the opposite scenario, where the page is supposed to scroll to the top (or somewhere else) but doesn't.

Is this the same bug that if you zoom in before the page has loaded completely the zoom is reset once page load is done?
