This bug is for the translation of the new "Firefox Flicks" sub-site inside of mozilla.org.

The Firefox Flicks site is a video contest targetting talented filmmakers wishing to create fun videos about Mozilla and Firefox. This is the second iteration of this contest, the first contest was in 2006

Here is the url on the development server:
http://www-dev.allizom.org/fa/firefoxflicks/

The mini site has 3 pages:
http://www-dev.allizom.org/fa/firefoxflicks/
http://www-dev.allizom.org/fa/firefoxflicks/faq/
http://www-dev.allizom.org/fa/firefoxflicks/brief/

Those pages are in your svn repository, so please "svn update" your local copy. Note that although we have merged and renamed our sites as 'mozilla.org', the repository is still named 'mozilla.com, here is the address as a reminder:

https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.com/trunk/fa

There is a new associated .lang file for this section containing a few UI strings for this mini-site as well as a string used to promote the project on social networks:

https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.com/trunk/fa/includes/l10n/firefoxflicks.lang

(also visible on the langchecker and webdashboard:
http://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~pascalc/langchecker/?locale=fa
http://l10n.mozilla-community.org/webdashboard/?locale=fa )

There are videos on these pages but they are not available yet, if we later get subtitles to translate via universal subtitles, I will mention it in your bug.

We plan to make this new mini-site live on December 12. We hope that you can meet this deadline but of course, there is no problem in publishing your translation after that date.

The main page has a big title that might be difficult to translate, it says:
LIGHTS! CAMERA! AWESOME!

(reference to LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION!, the famous sentence filmmakers say when they start recording a scene on stage with actors)

If you can't translate it in a similar way in your language, here is a few alternatives that you can use directly or take as a source of inspiration for a catchy title that would be cool in your language:

Firefox Goes to the Movies
Make Movies With Firefox
Go to the Movies With Firefox
Film Your Love of Firefox
FIrefox on Film
Firefox Goes Hollywood

Ideally, your title should be playful, energic and reflect the Mozilla values

Thanks!
Note that we haven't worked on RTL styling of the pages yet, don't be surprised if it doesn't look quite correct yet ;)

Arash, do you think you can get to this soon?
Hi Ehsan, I almost forgot this. Right now I'm in middle of final exams days and I don't have time for at least a week. After that there's a gap between exams. I'll try to do these on next Tuesday.
Arash, if you are not available because of exams, it's fine to just close the bug as Wontfix, don't worry :)
Ok, As I promised I updated all strings that was left on web dashboard. Pascal mentioned sth about "svn update" above that I have no idea about it and it seems there are more strings on Firefox Flicks page. Any instruction here would be good!
Arash, when you have the svn repository of the project locally, running the "svn update" command in it (or clicking on "update" in TortoiseSVN if you use windows) updates your local files by taking the newest versions on the Mozilla server. I can give you help on IRC btw :)
Pascal, Which IRC channel should I join? I'm on #persian right now.
Here is the patch with translated strings for Firefox Flicks pages. Sorry if I did them late. They were a lot of strings there and I'm still struggling with my exams.
Sorry! the above comment is grammatically wrong! I'm still struggling with my exams :D
Thanks a lot, Arash! Your help is much appreciated.

Pascal, I tried committing his patch, but it failed to apply. Do you know why?
pushed in r100008, sorry for the delay. If you can't commit, it may be that your rights were disabled for lack of activity on this repo (I think it gets deactivated after 6 months). I can check that with IT newt week.

Tell me if the page looks good, if it does, let's close the bug :)

Thanks to both of you!
Looks great to me!
