Twitter recently redesigned their website [1]. As of this filing, Twitter is a #9 Top-500 Web Site according to Alexa [2]. On Android, under the stock Android browser (Android 2.3.6), Dolphin HD and all Webkit variants, you will get their newly redesigned site. Opera 11 will be served their old site; along with Firefox XUL/Fennec Native. Safari on iOS5 gets served their new content too.
Firefox should get their newly redesigned content too.
Their site does a huge long test for browser detection at [3].

Note: Twitter has an HTML5 rendition of their web client in the works that Mobile QA has been tinkering with. I really don't know what control we have over their testing and rollout cycles.

probably no control, but maybe some influence if we can find the right person.

Chris Lee I believe is in contact from twitter right now. We just sent off a bunch of feedback to twitter on how to get gecko support.

We have good relationships with the mobile Twitter team and am working with them on improving compatible of their HTML5 site/app with Gecko.
