Touch / panning does not seem to work at all on a Google maps api implementation. Example:
http://nb.translink.ca/Map/Stop/51217
Works in Android native browser and Opera on Gingerbread ( Galaxy SII ), does not work on Fennec.

Jeff, thank you for confirmation of my bug 713505, which have been marked as duplicate without any comment. I'm very interested in question "when the touch event will work?". But this bug seems to be quite secret.

No secrets. There's an implementation of multitouch in bug 603008. It works for Google Maps, and I have all tests passing. We'll need a few tweaks to match some quirks of the Android stock browser implementation that Google Maps relies on (i.e. they apparently don't send all of the hardware's touchmove events to web pages). Just need to debug a memory leak that shows up during tests and it will be good to go. I'm hoping that it will ship in Firefox 12.

wesj, thanks for the update and the explanation. It'll be great to have this in mobile Firefox, this is one reason I don't use mobile nightly builds all the time.

marking as a dup of the multitouch bug (since it will be fixed there)

Thanks for explanation Wesley! =)
But i post a bug 713505 - which states that on my tablet simple Touch events DO work in firefox 10 beta and firefox 9. But don't work in Firefox 11 aurora and Firefox 12 nightly. I hope that it'll ship in Firefox 12, but what about FF 11?
