If you're inspecting pages with > MAX_TEXTURE_SIZE dimensions (usually 8192), only a part of the mesh will be textured. Tilt should be able to create as many textures as needed and split the page in chunks so that it's fully visible
Bug 653657 may offer a much more elegant solution.
