This bug is for the translation of the new "Firefox Flicks" sub-site inside of mozilla.org.

The Firefox Flicks site is a video contest targetting talented filmmakers wishing to create fun videos about Mozilla and Firefox. This is the second iteration of this contest, the first contest was in 2006

Those pages are in your svn repository, so please "svn update" your local copy. Note that although we have merged and renamed our sites as 'mozilla.org', the repository is still named 'mozilla.com, here is the address as a reminder:

There is a new associated .lang file for this section containing a few UI strings for this mini-site as well as a string used to promote the project on social networks:

There are videos on these pages but they are not available yet, if we later get subtitles to translate via universal subtitles, I will mention it in your bug.

The main page has a big title that might be difficult to translate, it says:
LIGHTS! CAMERA! AWESOME!

(reference to LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION!, the famous sentence filmmakers say when they start recording a scene on stage with actors)

If you can't translate it in a similar way in your language, here is a few alternatives that you can use directly or take as a source of inspiration for a catchy title that would be cool in your language:

Firefox Goes to the Movies
Make Movies With Firefox
Go to the Movies With Firefox
Film Your Love of Firefox
FIrefox on Film
Firefox Goes Hollywood

Ideally, your title should be playful, energic and reflect the Mozilla values

It is similar to the English title, and gives a little more info on what the contest is about.

But then all the charm disappears. It seems to me he translated correctly. Romanian expression is "Atenţie! Motor! Acţiune!". This is our old expression, not "Lumini! Cameră! Motor!" If in english there's not "Firefox" word in the title, why we need to do this?

Valentin, please also note that Firefox is written with big letters in "Firefox Flicks" [1] and awesome is "minunat" in Romanian.

Would it be possible to have it for newrt week? I know we plan updates to these pages and I am afraid that your current translation is going to become obsolete. That said, it is perfectly ok to not do this project in Romanian, just tell me, you can't be on all projects ;)

Aici se obișnuiește că dacă încarci o versiune mai nouă de fișier (completat, corectat) etc. să marchezi ca „învechit” fișierul care este înlocuit.

Soluția pe care o am este să compar eu ce ați corectat amândoi și să adaug manual traducerile unde trebuie. Deci o să mai dureze.

Scuze, am înțeles că nu e completă. Te rog, verific-o pe a lui Cristi și ține cont de observațiile mele: lipsă de diacritice (sau greșite) și uniformizarea traducerii.

Cred că este bine că nu am înlocuit, fiindcă versiunea mea nu este finală și sunt convins că nu am lucrat mai mult decât Cristi.
