See url testcase, focus the input next to the text "remove doc" text, type some text in such a way that the form autocomplete popup shows up. After 4 secondes, the input disappears (the whole document actually). Expected result: - The autocomplete popup should disappear when the input is removed Actual result: - The autocomplete popup stays visible To be honest, this is currently also an issue in desktop Firefox and XUL Fennec.

This also happens on desktop, and I'm not sure of a straightforward way to fix this. I don't think it's worth worrying about this case, since it's pretty rare/odd for a website to make an input disappear while a user is trying to enter text. The user can still tap elsewhere on the page to dismiss the popup, so they're not stuck with it forever.
