I'd like to get command line access to the MySQL db for addons-dev.allizom.org if possible. I am kmcmillan on khan's mysql server. Using phpmyadmin is so slow it's painful :( Plus it's way easier to work in the command line. ...hopping on the bug 527475 bandwagon.

I have created the kmcmillan user on the addons-dev db with the same authentication information as on the khan mysql server. I gave the user all permissions on the addons_dev database. Please reopen if this does not meet your needs.

Thanks Sheeri. Now I'm trying to get access to that host in bug 713723
Hi Sheeri. We now have access to dev1.db.phx1 from mpt-vpn (bug 713723) but I can't connect to mysql. The error I get is 'Access denied for user 'kmcmillan'@'<ip_address>' (using password: YES)' so maybe you created my account for localhost only? I don't have ssh access to dev1.db.phx1.

Got the IP, and changed the grant to use that IP.
