Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:12.0a1) Gecko/20111228 Firefox/12.0a1 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:10.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0 STR: 1. Start Firefox. 2. Load any webpage which displays a favicon (e.g. www.tv5.org) 3. Switch to Panorama mode immediately after loading site (so that the favicon is not loaded in normal mode) 4. Return to normal browsing mode and reload page. 5. Return to Panorama mode. Actual result: The default favicon is displayed for the site loaded in step 2 instead of site specific favicon. Reloading the page or exiting/entering back to Panorama will not display the site's favicon. Site favicons are displayed as expected in Panorama if switching to it after site has loaded. This issue occurs across platforms. Hi, The tab in normal mode doesn't show the favicon, even after reloading it several times. Also, tab.image inside Panorama is always blank in this cases. This makes me think that the problem is not in Panorama itself, because is the tab favicon not getting updated even in normal mode after reloading.

Please dismiss my previous comment. Regular tabs are working correctly. My bad.

Panorama has been removed from Firefox 45, currently in Beta and scheduled for release on March 7th. As such, I'm closing all existing Panorama bugs. If you are still using Panorama, you will see a deprecation message in Firefox 44, and when 45 is released your tab group data will be migrated to bookmarks, with a folder for each group. There are also a few addons offering similar functionality. See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tab-groups-removal for more info. We're removing Panorama because it has extremely low usage (about 0.01% of users), and has a large number of bugs and usability issues. The cost of fixing all those issues is far too high to justify, and so we'll instead be focusing our time and energy on improving other parts of Firefox.
