Attached file folderTree.json.old
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.25) Gecko/20111212 Firefox/3.6.25
Build ID: 20111212142243

Steps to reproduce:

Upgraded to 9.0.1

Actual results:

Lost all info in folder pane and lost thread and message panes. Followed instructions and renamed session.json and folderTree.json then restarted and it worked. Checking the error console and it stated something like "unexpected end of file during parsing". Looked at folderTree.json.old (new name) and it contains string of 224 x'00' characters.

Expected results:

Should have looked just like before.

When you say it worked, you mean now you can see your e-mails?
Yes, everything is fine now. But the knowledge-base article that led me to this stated to the effect "if you recently upgraded, then please report this as a bug" so I did. I can only assume the folderTree.json file filled with x'00' was at fault.
