Hey there,

Still waiting on two judge bios and prize copy from Kristin, but here's the rest. Let me know if you want me to walk you through any of it.

Once 50 videos have been submitted to the contest, we're changing the front page so that submitted videos are featured, rather than the teaser videos (I also realize now that I don't call out the teaser videos in this copy - do you think we should).

anyway, let me know and thanks. if you can review it today or tomorrow, that would be super swell.

CBeard sent me a note last night said he's been in touch with Ed and Shauna. they are traveling and will send the bios when they are back. Hopefully that's today. :) 

Also, the other bios as rewritten are not approved. I am pushing on the Kathleen (the woman in charge of the judges to get approval ASAP).

Couple of comments. We should run this copy by legal. Chelsea, will you please do that? 

Are you determing the formats for the video? Does that come from Vid.ly? 

Maybe this is harder to manage not sure but wondering if there is a way for them to email us the high-res file as opposed to physically putting it in the mail. Trying to make it easier on the person entering. 

Yes, the partner page will be a page of logos which we have one logo for right now. So, thinking we add that page with the first update to the site. Is that possible? We hopefully will have additional partners by that time. 

re: prizes. I want to pull that copy from legal to make sure we are using the right language. I should get legal today.

Hey there, 

Legal has requested to see copy once it's been laid out in html. 

I'm waiting to hear back from dev/vid.ly about formats. 

In terms of the high res file, I'm not sure on that. E-mailing files of this size isn't going to work. Maybe we can talk to vid.ly about it. The filmmakers will be uploading high res files there - maybe there's a way we can copy it or save it?

I'll get an answer on that today :)

Here's the prize copy.

GRAND PRIZE
The grand prize winners (1 from each region) will each receive $5000 in video equipment or cash to be used towards school expenses (if the winner is currently enrolled in an accredited film school or film program at an accredited college or university.

CATEGORY PRIZES
The category prize winners (2 from each category in each region) will each receive $1000 in video equipment or cash to be used towards school expenses (if the winner is currently enrolled in an accredited film school or film program at an accredited college or university.

PRIZE PACKS
In addition to the above prizes, all entrants who choose to provide their mailing address will receive a Firefox Flicks prize pack. In the case of a team, the individual who submitted the Entry will receive the prize pack.

I made a couple of changes to the Prize Packs section and called out the prize amount at the top of the other two. Otherwise, this looks good.
