Details
Users who have their home page set to http://www.google.com/firefox and then upgrade to the latest Firefox are greeted with the message that "You're not on the latest version of Firefox. Upgrade today to get the best of the Web!" This is causing confusion and results in support requests. We have this issue documented but of course it would be better to not confuse users in the first place.

Thanks for filing - I believe there are other open bugs on this.
Any idea what % or # of Fx users this affects? If a user updates from below 3.6 to any build above 4, their about:home page should change, changing the snippet text with it. Is that not happening? Or is this an edge case?
