The Quick Filter Bar toggle button (magnifying glass) is a way to big on Mac since we have tabs on top. And the background should be a bit darker. I only found 717264 which is for removing the icon (which would also solve the issue).

OK, the look of the button has changed since Bug 728553 and Bug 717264. But its still a bit extreme an very striking, compared to the rest of the buttons. But the issue I've opened this Bug is fixed since Bug 728553, so if you think its OK as it is, you can close this Bug.
