spun off from bug 19446. when Accel+L is implemented to shift focus to and selects the contents of the URL bar [Location field], we still need a way to bring up the Open Web Location dialog. Accel+Shift+L should do that.

I may as well take this since I own its counterpart.

I don't like it at all, I use CTRL+L and +O all the time in IE and NS4.77, now I have one more diferent shortcut? It was supposed to be a shortcut, but it's becoming a long road. Why did it changed? Can it be changed back? Can that be an user option at least? When you type an address in the location bar, it get's logged, in the location bar's pulldown menu. I use CTRL+L to avoid log the site there, on that pulldown menu, I only type in the location bar sites that are most used. That's my main use of the open location dialog. Since open location dialog is a very very old feature, and "shortcut to location bar" is new, give it a new key combination, CTRL+SHIFT+L, or something else, but don't change an old behavior. That's my opinion. Marcos.
