i searched for and surprisingly couldnt find a request for the following
feature: support for an external editor for mail composition. would it
be possible to have mozilla use an editor that i am comfortable with (vi
or emacs) for composing messages?
Changing "enhancement" to "[RFE]" in summary.
Summary: feature: external editor for mail composition → [RFE] external editor for mail composition
i think bug 13474 is for this.
i agree that this request is subsumed by 13474. (will try to help by
marking as duplicate and resolving. i am hoping that if i am not
supposed to do that or not allowed to do that this form will stop
me. my apologies if my action turns out wasteful!).
