Steps to reproduce:

Forward, Reply or "save as draft" of a messages that contains an inline *.gif file.


Actual results:

Always get: 
Sending of message failed.
Attachment error.

If I forward message as attachment (*.eml) all goes fine.

The GIF file is our companie's logo.

If I click "Image link and properties" I get: "mailbox:///C:/Users/mm197759/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/il9ugq9n.default/Mail/Local%20Folders/Archieven.sbd/IN?number=395664359&part=1.2&filename=oracle_sig_logo.gif" wich seems to be OK, as the message forwarded, replied to or saved is in that folder.

The problem occurs with messages from outlook or TB.

Attached the source of the message I try to forward. (One from outlook and one from TB) (search for "==========" to find OUTLOOK or THUNDERBIRD version in file.


Expected results:

Re-attach the oracle_sig_logo.gif file.

What do you call by "an inline *.gif file"? <img src="cid:...> of html mail?

Wha error? Similar to error message in bug 727324 comment #6.

Do you mean problem occurred with the mail in local mail folder?
IMAP mail folder only issue, isn't it?

Same problem as bug 727324?

"Image link and properties" I get: "mailbox:///C:/ ... /Local%20Folders/ ...".
Apparently "space in Mbox name" case.
Duping to bug 287674(problem with space in Mbox name), instead of bug 727324(problem with #/? in Mbox name is additionally found).

Do you see your problem in recent Tb 17?
