The canvas can't be made to fill the whole page in portait mode and can't be panned.

My fixes might have fixed this bug, but I can't say for sure since every time I want to test this, I get a "cannot connect to server" error.
Sometimes the connection takes a while to establish.
Bug 727843 is about the cannot connect to server error
