+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #730381 +++ We're hooking up the new Seamicro chassis in the PHX1 module. To do this, we need 2 ports on different switches in the same stack, lacp-bonded, on the Seamicro VLAN. There are suitable switches in cab 6, but they're not powered up and the PDUs in there aren't racked yet... so cab 5 might be a better bet, depending on timing. We have lots of various different kinds of SFP's in the module... let me know which ones are suitable and I can install them when we hook up the cable runs in Bug 730381. Also, in order for us to be able to make use of this, we'll need another /24 of IPs allocated to the Seamicro VLAN... the current /23 is completely used up by the original 512-node Seamicro Atom chassis. Another /24 will give us enough IPs for this new 64-node chassis, plus 2 more like it (which is what we have room for). Alternatively, perhaps a completely separate VLAN for this makes more sense. Doesn't matter to me. A /24 would still be a good idea though, so we can add more chassis to it as we add them.

LACP bonded interface ae7 created on switch1.r101-5. Handing over to netops for IP allocation.

there should be no singular subnet allocation for that chassis as it's vlan enabled (hooray) unless sysadmins need specific direction for a particular vlan.
