When scrolling a page that has a java applet running, rendering issues can be seen with the applet. The problem is fixable if you refresh the page. Using Chrome, rendering issues are seen but are immediately fixed/adjusted. In Firefox, the rendering issues remain. Please see screenshot.

Seen on Firefox 11b3 with Windows 7:
Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Firefox
2. Go to http://www.ies.co.jp/math/java/comp/cplconj/cplconj.html -- Let the java applet to run
3. Scroll the page

Actual Results:
Rendering issues occur with the java applet.

Expected Results:
No rendering issues occur in the java applet or if issues occur that they are fixed.
Reproducible. Happens to me in Firefox 12 and previous versions. Google Chrome and Internet Explorer work better. I think that some applets may have rendering issues, but in Firefox I have this problem with almost all kinds of applets.

My description:
Artifacts appear on the screen when a web page with a Java Applet is scrolled up and down.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Firefox
2. Go to http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/deployment/applet/deployingApplet.html
3. Observe the Dynamic Tree Demo applet
4. Scroll the page up and down

Actual Results:
Rendering issues occur with the java applet.
Just wondering if this issue might ever be resolved. It would seem this could be fixed pretty easily by just redrawing the applet area.

I seem to recall we can work around the issue by hiding, then re-showing the applet after scrolling stops, but that's a painful workaround.
