Build ID: 20120218223401

Steps to reproduce:

sort by date (descending order), group by date.

Actual results:

After a night, when "Today" changed, I see the "Old Mail" being on top of "Today".
See attached screenshot.

Expected results:

order should be natural
It gets worse, see the attached screenshot. Two "Old Mail" folders there.

TB-10.0.2 on FreeBSD 9.0
Summary: "Old mail" shows first when folder is grouped by day and sorted in descending order → Grouping by date is broken: "Old mail" shows before "Today", also duplicate "Old mail" folders shown
if this has to do with the day changing, I think the bug summary should say so for clarity.
One problem is because of the day change, another problem is duplication of "Old Mail".
This may have been triggered by the date change, but looks like the problem is deeper than just that.
This is reflected in the subject.

> Duplicate "Old Mail" group

With regards to the 2nd attachment; sorting is a bit slow. I tried with a small count of messages (in my Thunderbird). Once I re-sort, I briefly see "Old Mail" appearing in top and bottom of the list. Then after that, I get it only in top of the list and "Today" in bottom of the list. You have more than 1,000 messages and this causes slowness and that is why you see it duplicated it briefly.
