Hello: We are integrating the Mozilla Student Reps program (MSR) web presence with the Mozilla Reps program (ReMo) portal (http://reps.mozilla.org). Per recent meetings with the Flux and ReMo webdev teams, we've decided the two teams will collaborate on building the MSR presence on the ReMo the portal no sooner than the week of March 19, 2012. We also identified the following work that will need to take place ahead of the March 15 code freeze: - P1: Redirect MSR website (http://studentreps.mozilla.org) traffic to MSR wiki (https://wiki.mozilla.org/ReMo/Student_Reps). Much of the content on the MSR website is dated and confusing to contributor. We'd like to start redirected traffic to the wiki ASAP. - P1: Finding somewhere to host the MSR registration form (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/newsletter/studentreps) including the landing page that is triggered after the user completes the form. It would be ideal if we could keep these two pages once the other components of the website are archived. Once we start building out the MSR website on the ReMo portal (after March 16), we will create a new sign-up page. - *P1: Archiving remaining content from http://studentreps.mozilla.org/en site; **P2: archiving website content from other 6 locales. *The en-US content will need to be available to staff through March 16 as it is currently serving as a reference for new MSR training content creation. **Much of the translated content may be useful in the future; however, we haven't identified how or when. Thank you.

Hey there: Will someone need to pick-up this bug going forward? Also, checking in to see if you need anything and that we're on-track for next week as planned. Thanks, Jason

I could make a new "site" for the old content at archive.studentreps.mozilla.org and put it behind ldap auth, so it can't be spidered by search engines. Would that be sufficient to let you get at the content?

Ok, this is live at http://archive.studentreps.mozilla.org It will prompt you for a login, which will be your full LDAP login, e.g. bburton@mozilla.com and your LDAP password. Let me know if you have any issues logging in.

Sorry about that, I needed to tweak the group that's allowed to login. Give it a try now.
