Front end recently switched to netscaler from zeus. Maybe related.

IT is still doing a bit more investigation, but they feel pretty certain that the problem is that the logging layer cannot handle the sustained traffic of both VAMO and AMO sites even though the netscaler itself can. Jeremy just mentioned to me in IRC that he is going to look at reverting the AMO site to alleviate the immediate problem while they work on fixing the logger capacity issue.
The downside is that the data for yesterday and today are going to be wrong and there is nothing we can do to correct it.

I think this is fixed/duped with bug 733832?

I'd say the status of this bug is an acknowledged problem that can't be "fixed". Data from the 8th forward should be correct because of the fix in bug 733832.
