Windows 7 64-bit
Tested with: openwebapps-06d12d4a7d-03_05_2012.xpi on Firefox 11b6
When the user cancels a sign-in in to Sky ID in the Sky Guide native app, an error is thrown. This only occurs in a specific case when the pop-up is not brought up within the app to sign-in but rather the user is taken to another page with the pop-up embedded (see steps to reproduce for more details). The error thrown is:
"The following error was encountered while trying to retrieve the URL:
http://epgservices.sky.com/tvlistings-proxy/tvwidget/null;jsessionid=DDE0A879AFC5C0B3093589524F76F20A
Access Denied."
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install the Apps extension - Can be found from people.mozilla.com/~dclarke/openwebapps/
2. Install the Sky Guide app and make sure to install it natively as well
3. Launch the Sky Guide native app (on Windows, this just requires double clicking on the app icon on the desktop)
4. Without clicking anywhere or anything else (this is weird behavior that occurs with the native app), click on "Record" in any of the main slideshow panels -- At this point usually, a pop-up appears within the current window but in this case, the user is taken to another page with the pop-up embedded in it
5. Click "Go Back" at the bottom right
Actual Results:
An error appears and the user must restart the native app to recover
Expected Results:
The user is taken to the previous page that they were on (in this case the start-up screen for the native app)

Good find. I'm curious to know what the corresponding behavior is on desktop firefox. Marking qa-wanted to investigate this.

Getting a permission denied when I try to install. Will need to get that issue fixed in order to test Sky Guide.

Not reproducible on desktop firefox. Likely a desktop runtime issue.

Can't get this reproduce on the new implementation. Mohamed - If you see this happen again, feel free to reopen the bug and explain what the web runtime should do.
