Thunderbird has released 11.0.1 earlier this week due to some severe MailNews Core regressions (hang in IMAP, bug 733731; filter dataloss, bug 735940). Assuming that those equally affect SeaMonkey, it appears that an SM 2.8.1 would be in order?
