No Fennec being done as part of this. Fennec 12.0 is being built as 10.0.4 ESR and being done in bug 735393.

Attached patch throttle rapid releases (obsolete) — Splinter Review
As usual, we'll be going out unthrottled, then will throttle and evaluate, then unthrottle.

According too r-d mail, we'll be pushing the standard 3.6.28 -> 12.0 manual update. That means we need to re-throttle 3.6.28. Beta channel stays unthrottled for it, so that the updates done in bug 738407 still get seen.

Note: we need to land the 3.6.28 throttling change tomorrow, and the other ones on Wednesday.
Comment on attachment 617460 [details] [diff] [review] throttle 3.6.28, too Drive by comments .. >Index: config-dist.php > $productThrottling = array( > 'Firefox' => array( >+ '3.6.28' => 0, > '3.6.29' => 0, So we'll still have 3.6.13-27 advertising 11.0, while 3.6.28 -> 12.0 will be manual ? I'm not sure what the timeline is for generating 3.6.{13..28} -> 12.0, but perhaps we ought to do that sooner rather than later and throttle them all. We can remove these 3.6.29 references next time we touch this.

I already prepared the 3.6.x -> 12.0 updates in bug 747895 though. I'll confer with him and bring up the idea of shipping those (throttled or unthrottled). Thanks! > We can remove these 3.6.29 references next time we touch this. Woohoo!
Alex said that he's not too concerned about that inconsistency for a short period, so we'll just be shipping the standard, manual MU. Next week we'll be shipping bug 747895. We won't be updating these to point at 12.0, so we won't have to worry about it next time!
Rail r+'ed this IRL.
