Steps to reproduce:
I clicked on the Thunderbird icon.
Actual results:
Thunderbird started, bug reporter reported a crash. No apparent affect on Thunderbird. Same thing happens when I start Firefox. I entered a bug report in Firefox Bugzilla.

Expected results:
Thunderbird/Firefox should start and run with no crash reports.
