737914 - pps (Powerpoint) and dwg (AutoCAD) attachments not encoded correctly

Steps to reproduce:

Open a pps or dwg attachment, and select 'Open with' or 'Save file'.


Actual results:

The "Do this automatically for files like this from now on" option is grayed out.  TB fails to assign the correct content type to the file, and so no entry is created in the Attachments options.


Expected results:

The "Do this automatically.." should be available, as it is when the attachment is correctly encoded with other email programs such as Hotmail or Gmail.  See these two pages for a detailed description of the problem and the workaround:

Did you try to remove you mimetypes.rdf file in your profile ?

Yes, deleting that file does not resolve the issue:
