Steps to reproduce: - Make sure you have at least 2 tabs open - On one of the tabs, go to http://video.webmfiles.org/big-buck-bunny_trailer.webm - Switch to the other tab Expected result: - No sound should be heard from the tab with the webm video, since it is inactive Actual result: - Sound from the inactive tab can still be heard
This was tested on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Android 4.0.2. Also, the sound doesn't disappear after tapping on the Android Home button.
What does desktop Firefox do?
Desktop Firefox doesn't do this either, see bug 334987. Stock Android browser does handle this correctly.
