On the current nightly, the revamped mozilla.org doesn't render correctly. The page seems to get cut off at the width of the screen, though I can pan to the right and see a Mozilla button or something in the top right corner.
The new site has the same problem in desktop Firefox when the window is narrower than about 900px. (In fact, for http://www.mozilla.org/ there are problems in any window smaller than 900px.)

These pages should remove the <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width"> tag from their headers. For the home page at least, it should probably replace it with "width=992" or similar, since the default in Fennec and other mobile browsers is 980.

Moving to websites.

The second "900px" was supposed to be "992px".
Note: mozilla.org serves a separate mobile version by default to most mobile browsers, and this isn't a problem for users who get that version. But this is still a problem for anyone who:

* Uses a narrow screen or narrow window on desktop
* Clicks the "View Full Site" button to switch from the mobile version to the desktop version
* Uses a mobile browser that is not detected by the server
Summary: New mozilla.org doesn't render correctly → New mozilla.org and mozilla.org/firefox pages don't render correctly in narrow windows
note that on a droid pro I'm getting redirected to a mobile page (http://dump.lassey.us/mozilla.org.png) but on a galaxy nexus I'm seeing a desktop page that doesn't lay out well
My 70-year-old eyes cannot handle anything other than 800x600 resolution. With that resolution, the page header (select the mozilla button) is cut off on the left, even when the scroll bar is to the far left.

This seems to be a recurring problem with every redesign of the Mozilla.org Web site. Someone forgets to make the pages adaptable to all screen sizes, window sizes, and monitor resolutions.

Apparently the new Android version of Firefox is affected by this situation. Please see my bug 776622 for a workaround that overrides the buggy css on the web site.
My bug specifically refers to the web-page menus on pages that are EXPECTED to be seen in narrow windows such as the Android Mobile FAQ. I don't think it's exactly a duplicate of this bug.

The home page has been revised to use responsive design.
