There was a similar bug recently (bug 729053) and we tried to reproduce it without success.
Does look similar. Will try to narrow down steps to reproduce consistently.

This could be duplicate of bug 507501 which I just reproduced.
bugzilla-cyberdata (reporter), can you please describe your exact steps how you run into this bug?
Does it involve prior selection of some text in the "other" message A which then gets quoted in reply to message B?
Do you think your bug is a duplicate of bug 507501?

Difficult to reproduce consistently. Yes can include previously selected text from different message.
Sorry don't understand 507501 - can't see original fault just stuff about vector maps which may be plausible.

Ok sorry, let's try that again with correct bug number:
This could be duplicate of ** bug 507541 ** which I just reproduced.

Reporter, do you think your bug is a duplicate of bug 507541?
OK to resolve your bug as a duplicate of that?
Note that without detailed steps to reproduce or similar information, we will not be able to evaluate your bug, so the only possible resolution currently would be "incomplete".

Not a duplicate.
Steps;-
highlight text in open message and delete.
select and open another message.
send message.
when message is sent original highlighted text from earlier message is added and sent.
This may occur several messages later.
