User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux i686; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0 Build ID: 20120310010446 Steps to reproduce: This is another piece of the send-in-background series of bugs. One thing we'll need to do before it is done is add the bug to the preferences window. This bug is to track that conversation once we're ready to do that.

I'd actually assert that when we complete send-in-background, we should just swap to it completely, and not have the option to switch back. Assuming it is implemented correctly, the only thing the user will get is gain, I can't think of a good reason why a user might want to swap back. The only reason we have the preference at the moment is for testing purposes. The only preference I can think a user might want could be to delay the send-in-background for a period of time, which I think is already touched on by bug 498298.
Oh. Well when you put it that way, RESOLVED-INVALID seems appropriate. Good call.
