Details

In the window of configuration: "Edit/Mail/News Account Settings" It
was impossible to me to configure the signature file.
After several attempts, I need to edit the file PREFS.js to give the
path and the file of signature.
reporter, what build are you using?  This was fixed recently, I believe...

This was fixed mar22, but I don't believe it's in mozilla 8.1
ref: bug 70641.  Fixed in the trunk, should be in mozilla 0.9
