CSS transitions stutter on Firefox 12 and exhibit horrible visual artifacts on today's Nightly. Test case: people.mozilla.com/~tglek/fosdem2012/ ^^ Hit keyboard arrow keys to move between slides & reproduce issue

We should skip frames when we can't keep up with the desired framerate. Is the stutter you're seeing consistent with that? If so, this just needs a profile to see what's slow. If not, more investigation is needed.
