Per my notes, "kill sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox per Fallen IRC 2/6/2012" I think the confusion was that this host has two names. Per today's IRC: 12:37 < Fallen> we only use cb-sb-win32-tbox, momo-vm-cal-linux64-01, momo-vm-cal-linux-01 and tb2-darwin10-slave64 The latter three are momo/tbird infra, so not related to this bug. Fallen, can we take a downtime for this host? It seems to take a few hours for windows machines. If so, when's good?
By the way, my notes for calendar hosts are now: kill cb-xserve03 per 610394 (verified via IRC with Fallen) - <DONE> kill cb-lightning-linux-tbox (unused per Fallen email 1/23) - <DONE> kill sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox per Fallen IRC 2/6/2012 – nope! bug 746025 <IN PROGRESS> Have I missed anything there?

You can take it down any day after 1PM PST or if you ping me then also any time before. (In reply to Dustin J. Sounds right to me, thanks for investigation!
https://inventory.mozilla.org/en-US/systems/show/527/ cal-vm-win32-tbox - 63.245.223.20 We'll sort out flows once it's in place, if there are any problems. Virtualization team - see comment 2 for timing on this move.

:Fallen please provide the Administrator login via IRC. Tried contacting you but you were not online. I have tried ALL the Administrator logins that we have on file but could not login.
Per comment 2, we'll take this down this afternoon to start moving. We won't be able to set it up fully at its new location until we have access info, but we can at least get the migration taken care of. Let Aj or I know the login details when you can, please?
Migration of sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox started. Status: 1% Complete ETA: ~ 1 hour and 3 minutes (will fluctuate)
sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox status; Status: 24% Complete ETA: ~ 4 hours and 35 minutes (will continue to fluctuate) Main reason for long delay, some congestion on the network. Once another migration completes, it should finish quicker.
sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox migrated, booting server up. However, as don't have login credentials, won't be able to get online. Will just make sure it boots without any known (visible) issues.
VM is up, tried updating vmware tools but seems it may be prompting for user input but need login. Once login is provided, should be good to go.
Hmm I don't have the admin login credentials myself :-( I only have login for user calbld. Is that enough?
Let's hope so - send those along?
Aj, you can try the passwords for cg-xserve03, perhaps?
:dustin thanks! It worked! VM is now online and reachable via community host.
Looks good - Phillip, please re-open if you see problems? You already have a login on jump1.community.scl3.mozilla.com (kewisch).

I cannot seam to reach this machine. I tried from cb-jump01.sj.mozilla.com and the new jumphost you mentioned. Using SSH forward: channel 7: open failed: administratively prohibited: open failed Using telnet on jumphost: oskar:buildbot-configs kewisch$ ssh jump1.community.scl3.mozilla.com Last login: Tue May 8 00:27:29 2012 from 110.164.84.5 [kewisch@jump1.community.scl3 ~]$ telnet sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox.scl3 3389 telnet: sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox.scl3: Name or service not known [kewisch@jump1.community.scl3 ~]$ telnet sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox 3389 telnet: sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox: Name or service not known [kewisch@jump1.community.scl3 ~]$ telnet sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox.mozilla.com 3389 telnet: sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox.mozilla.com: Name or service not known [kewisch@jump1.community.scl3 ~]$ telnet sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox.scl3.mozilla.com 3389 telnet: sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox.scl3.mozilla.com: Name or service not known
I concur - arp but no ping. Aj, I can't see this host in VMware -- is it in the right resource group?

The VM is under the p2v resource group, if it needs to be reallocated to a different group, please let me know. VM Name: cal-vm-win32-tbox.community.scl3.mozilla.com As for the server, if you recall, the windows firewall is enabled and not allowing ping requests. The new VM/host name needs to be used to connect to it; @jump1.community.scl3 ~]$ nc -vz cal-vm-win32-tbox.community.scl3.mozilla.com 3389 Connection to cal-vm-win32-tbox.community.scl3.mozilla.com 3389 port [tcp/ms-wbt-server] succeeded!
Ah ok, I was looking for sb-mozbuild-win32-tbox. I like cal-vm-win32-tbox better as a name though. I can connect very well now, thanks!

(In reply to Adrian Fernandez [:Aj] from comment #17) > The VM is under the p2v resource group, if it needs to be reallocated to a > different group, please let me know. Aj, please put it in the Community group. Any other hosts on the community VLAN should be there, too.
