Details

The google search phrase in the google search textbox disappears while trying to edit directly. 

Testcase: 
1.Type 'Web API' in Fennac URL bar
2. Select Search With Google Searchfor 'Web API' in awesomebar dropdown box
3. After the google search results loads, go to google search inpu box and append a space next 'Web API' search phrase. 
4. The search phrase will disappear :)
Yep this is a recent regression from last Friday or early Saturday, and a pretty bad one that I believe should block. 

I'm duplicating this to a bug I filed yesterday.
