Steps to reproduce:

I wanted to export thunderbird e-mail folders.


Actual results:

There is no such option.


Expected results:

It would be great the ability to export (backup) e-mail files and then being able also to import them.

Already pending enhancement requests:
 - Bug 247312 (TB): backup/restore capability for accounts/folders data
 - Bug 22689 (Core): Import/Export Profile (Backup/Restore)

For Windows, also have a look at the MozBackup utility program:
