Hi John,
It's been on the table, but wanted to move idea along whether we want to reorganize Firefox for Android website content under mozilla.org/firefox/mobile from mozilla.org/mobile. This change also makes a lot more sense now due to the proliferation of other mobile products.
I bring it up now because we're going to be setting up WebTrends tracking URLs soon for our launch campaigns and I wanted to confirm this as soon as possible.
Thanks

Yes, we should definitely do this. Am copying Mike Alexis to help us figure out the best way to actually get it done.

Are we talking strictly redirects or creating new pages and moving content around?
We can discuss requirements in more detail outside this bug.

Summary: [NativeUI launch] mozilla.org/firefox/mobile → [NativeUI GA] mozilla.org/firefox/mobile
Hi Mike,
Would it be possible to implement this new URL before release day? It would help with getting all the tracking and links in order with other pages before hand

Having taken a look at the URLs that currently live under mozilla.org/mobile/*, I think we can do a mass move and redirect everything from mozilla.org/mobile/X -> mozilla.org/firefox/mobile/X
This does include release notes pages, but I think that's fine.
Sync'd up with cmore, and doesn't seem like this is in scope for the release

Let's keep this open because we currently don't have a /firefox/mobile landing page. We are using /firefox/fx/#mobile as the landing page for now and we probably want a cleaner URL structure that doesn't require a hash.

Let's resolve this bug as there are no immediate plans to implement /firefox/mobile landing page and redirects. If we do move forward it would make sense to open a new bug anyway.
