bug 697786 added support for Native Android add-ons on AMO. Currently when a user accesses AMO on a fresh install of Firefox Aurora (and very soon to be Beta) the user will see zero add-ons available. See screenshot. * Tapping 'View all Featured add-ons' listed nothing. * Tapping 'Newest' lists the add-ons (separate issue with a plethora of mislabelled desktop add-ons here) * Tapping 'Highest Rated' yields the same result as above. Expose add-ons by default on access to the market without the need for the user to wonder why none are listed and guess where they tucked under.

The other option is defaulting the tab to 'Popular'.

We should mark some add-ons as "featured" for Android. Here are a couple of add-ons that are "featured" for XUL Fennec and are also compatible with Android: * Phony * URL Fixer Hopefully there will be more soon.

The original bug is a duplicate of bug 744555. I'm not sure what the new summary means but I'd suggest a new bug...?

This is not an exact dupe of 744555, the first bullet is. The other two are essentially addons are spamming compatibility. For example https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/cutebuttons-crystal-svg/ claims to be compatible with Firefox mobile XUL and Native.

A good reason to have separate bugs for separate topics. :) If Jorge wants to reopen the bug and take it, it's his call. If there is something for dev to do, let me know, but as far as I know this is something to be handled by policy/reviewers.

I removed Android compatibility for the CuteButtons add-on. If you know of other add-ons that are incorrectly labelled as supporting native mobile, please file a bug with the list.
