Device: HTC Desire Z
OS: Android 2.3.3

Steps to reproduce:
1. Load cnn.com
3. Tap the url bar for the awesome menu to appear.
3. Tap the back button to return to cnn.com page.
4. Reload the page.
5. Tap the url bar before the page is completely loaded for the awesome menu to appear.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 several times.

Expected result:
The awesome menu is displayed correctly.

Actual result:
Sometimes there is a green section displayed over the top sites section instead of the VKB and othertimes the cnn.com top section is displayed over the awesome menu like you can see in the screenshots attached.

I've reproduced this on a HTC Desire HD. It would be interesting to know if it happens on non-adreno hardware.

Is this a regression? If so can we get a range.

The regression range for this issue is:
Build 2012-04-03 95df15895e02 - reproducible
Build 2012-04-02 - unusable. crashes repeatedly
Build 2012-04-01 - not reproducible

The is not reproducible on Galaxy Nexus 4.0.2 and Samsung Galaxy S2 2.3.4 so it might bee only a Adreno hardware issue.

I believe this bug may be fixed by bug 752368. I wasn't able to reproduce the problem with that patch. However, reproducing it wasn't easy for me, so it may just be a coincidence.

Paul, can you try today's Nightly on that original phone to see if you can reproduce?

This issue seems to be fixed. Is not reproducible anymore on:
Nightly 15 (2012-05-21)
Device: HTC Desire Z
OS: Android 2.3.3
