75436 - Linux only-images don't print

Using build 2001-04-09 on linux .jpg and .gif images inserted or attached to a
message don't print.  This is a problem in Composer and Browser too.
These same images print when using 6.01 and the same linux system.   I saw bugs
for backgrounds not printing, but they didn't print in 6.01 either, images did.
So this is a different bug

Browser:
1. Launch Browser- Netscape home page comes up
2. File|Print

Result: page prints but areas where the .gif's were are blank
Expected:  Images to print.

Mail:
1. Launch Messenger- Open a mail msg with an inserted .gif or .jpg
2. File|Print

Result: page prints but areas where the .gif's were are blank
Expected:  Images to print.

Composer:
1. Launch Composer- insert a .gif and .jpg
2. File|Print

Result: page prints but areas where the .gif's were are blank
Expected:  Images to print.

how big were the images?  are they printing with tuesday's build?

pavlov, if you go check out both 73254 and 74480, they print in Mac and Windows
but a blank page in Linux

probably a lack of image scaling on unix... dup of one of 50 other bugs

Pavlov, Xprint does not print images, too (do you remember ? This wasn't fixed
by fixing bug 6074... ;-( )... ;-(
At least Xprint may be fixed easily as Xprint uses Xlib-toolkit for rendering,
e.g. you have all goodies of a Xserver...
