these 3 tests:
continuation-positioned-inline-1.html
scrollframe-2.html
select-3.html

fail randomly as some or all if we turn off browser.tabs.remote preference.  Differences are seen in running that single directory vs chunk 1 of 3

actually it is only: scrollframe-2.html

In bug #1072417 we removed the browser.tabs.remote,
so can this bug be closed or we should leave it open as it's other case?

I don't believe the problem has been fixed, we still have e10s, browser.tabs.remote was how we turned on e10s 2 years ago.

we don't have any specific manifest conditions for browserIsRemote in http://dxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/layout/reftests/abs-pos/reftest.list, so I am going to close this bug.
