RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 721640

People

(Reporter: MichaelRL100, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:14.0) Gecko/20120520 Firefox/14.0a2
Build ID: 20120520092403

Steps to reproduce:

I go to about config, and tap on the search field.

Actual results:

My phone lagged like crazy, and this ultimately led to a full restart of my phone, followed on the second attempt by a restart where the initial bootscreen was skipped, a partial reboot.

Expected results:

There should be a lot less lag and no rebooting. As the rest of Firefox has drastically improved over the past few months (look at the beta and nightlies for Android), I would expect that this issue is noticed and eventually fixed. For clarification, although I listed this as a 14 beta bug, it also effects the nightlies.
