Hello
Upon visiting www.google.com/flights in Fennec (14.0a2, 2012-05-31) in ICS on a Google Galaxy Nexus (latest google dev phone), I get the desktop site.
My 'Request Desktop Version' button is unchecked.
When I visit the same site in chrome, i get the mobile friendly site (big improvement).
No idea why this happens.

Thanks for the bug. Google is sniffing the user-agent and not accurately detecting that it's a mobile browser and is thus redirecting to their desktop site.

An HTTP GET Request with the UA in Nightly: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Mobile; rv:15.0) Gecko/15.0 Firefox/15.0a1 -- is served the desktop version of http://www.google.com/flights
An HTTP GET Request with the UA in Android AOSP Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.4; en-us; Galaxy Nexus Build/IMM76I) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30 -- is served the mobile touch-friendly version of http://www.google.com/flights
Spoofing the UA in Nightly to the Android AOSP Browser will result in the mobile touch-friendly version (as of June 2012) of the site with some caveats of broken layout due to WebKit prefixed styling.

This means without Fennec changing it's UA string, we get served the desktop version. I guess this a Google problem then, they should change it the page served.
Thanks

This is a site under the google.com domain. It is therefore not called out specifically on Alexa and I don't have it on other lists as a top site. k9o- unless this site is determined to be a priority.

Tested today
* on Firefox Android 26, after clearing cache and cookies.
Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Mobile; rv:26.0) Gecko/26.0 Firefox/26.0
receiving the desktop content
* on Firefos OS,
Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:26.0) Gecko/26.0 Firefox/26.0
same result
On both cases, the (desktop) top search toolbar of Google site displays, then a delay of 3s before the rest of the page displays (with desktop content)

Seems I now get a pretty nice, touch-adapted site on both Firefox OS and Firefox for Android. In both cases, however, the "book" button doesn't work - the screen goes slightly dimmer like the site tries to open a "lightbox" but positions it off-screen. Nothing else happens.
I intend to close this and reported bug 992851 on the "book" button problem.
