I think the following is an awesome thing that would integrate nicely with the new YouSendIt fileupload feature:
Instead of asking the user if the attachment size is greater than a fixed amount, we should, in my opinion, save the max attachment size for each provider in our database of email providers. This way, we can simply ask the user to use yousendit ONLY IF the attachment size exceeds the maximum size of the provider.

there are other reasons to use YouSendIt - the upload of binary files requires bandwidth because we don't base64 encode, and you don't take up extra space in your sent folder or the recipient's inbox. So exceeding the max size of the provider is not the only reason to use file link.
