Gozer: they forgot to mention they need this site ASAP, as they need to deploy to it by EOW if possible.

(In reply to Jon Buckley [:jbuck] from comment #0) > Distro: Latest CentOS > Memory: 512MB (just to clarify, if need be, this can be reprovisioned to a > higher amount easily enough, right?) Yes, only downside is that it needs a reboot.

Awesome, thanks for getting this spun up so quickly. I haven't used a Labs VM before, so to logon to the machine I use my SSH credentials for jon@jbuckley.ca?

From LDAP, your unix userid is jon, you have been granted sudo on that box. You should be able to ssh in with your SSH key in LDAP. You need to be VPNed in before you can get in. I'll setup public access to this VM later today.

Alright, I've installed Popcorn Maker on the server and everything seems to be working within the VPN environment. Let me know when there's a public IP to point storycamp.mozillapopcorn.org. Thanks for turning this around so quickly!

:gozer update? We'd like to get this publicly-accessible today so that we can verify that caching is working correctly.

Interesting, mozilla doesn't run/own the mozillapopcorn.org domain, so I can't make the necessary dns change. So I'll need the admin of that domain to add the following record: storycamp IN A 63.245.223.182 And somewhat unrelated, do we have an open bug to transfer ownership of this domain over to mozilla ?

http://63.245.223.182/ is now live, all that's missing is the DNS change, which I can't perform myself.

I filed Bug 765298 to do the DNS transfer in the future. I've changed the DNS to point to 63.245.223.182 and now I'm just waiting for it to propagate more widely. I'm going to mark this bug as resolved, thanks for all your help with this!
